Diamondback lowers prices on premium road bikes

The brand also expanding free mobile delivery service and ReadyRide programs

Diamondback, which launched a consumer direct sales program last year, has lowered prices on its premium road models, including the Podium Vitesse Disc pictured above.

The new pricing means that bikes like the carbon fiber Diamondback Podium, equipped with Shimano Ultegra Di2 electric shifting and hydraulic disc brakes can be had for as little as $3499. Diamondback’s time trial bike, the Serios, featuring SRAM Force goes for $3459. The Podium and the Serios are the same frames that pro riders from Team Rally rode to several podiums at the recent USA Cycling National Championships.

In addition to the Podium and the Serios, prices for Diamondback’s aero superbike, the Andean, now start at $3999. Both the Andean and the Serios can also be fully customized via the brand’s new Custom Studio online tool, which allows riders to choose everything from frame color to wheel model.

After ordering a Diamondback bicycle online, the ReadyRide program delivers it to consumers’ doors 95 percent assembled. Included tools and an online support system with chat and helpful how-to videos help make the rest of the build process a straightforward affair. Consumers can also choose to have their bike assembled at their local bike shop at no extra cost, or built and delivered by mobile bike service, Beeline Bikes, where available.
